Routes in Oceania for selected grade

Climb the pockets from a sit start.

Climb the high slab on the left.

Climb the centre of the highball slab on good holds.

Start just right of the arete and head up the highball slab. Easy climbing on good holds. Possibly the same route as 'Flintstones Do The Hump'?

The right hand side of the northern, slabby side, just left of 'Arete'. Up to the ledge, then up water groove to top. (Originally graded 7, but was soloed, so changed to bouldering grades.)

To the right of 'Fridge Hugger', with horizontal crack 2m up. (Originally graded 6, but was soloed, so changed to bouldering grades.)

The thrutchy crack on the left side of the tower.

The rib in the middle of the face. Finish up right crack.

As for Stele Evasion. The slab direct.

Not an aid route! In the amphitheatre above and right of Cella is a worthless deep groove/chimney in the middle of the wall.

Climb the high, easy angled hand crack. Watch the loose block near the top!

This climb is on the back of the 'Meditation' boulder, 30 south of the Raptor boulder and fronting the walking track.

An easy no-hands problem on the uphill side of the boulder.

Sit start on the prominent blocks, then up easily. A fun challenge as a no-hand slab at V0.

Climb the lovely slab on the top tier of the crag using chicken-heads.

Easy way to access upper routes.

1. 42m (5) Follow the crack to a small overhang (upper crack has foliage growing). Up a juggy wall and then head slightly R to a small belay stance.

2. 35m (2-3) Up the juggy wall, passing rappel bolts, and on to belay at Gods Ledge.

Finish up The Knob, Travellers Slab, Gregs Direct or Traverse of the Gods*

1. 18m Start 10m L of BDO and follow juggy face to ledge. 2. 40m Straight up wall behind to belay as for BDO. 3. Move the belay 7m up to the right below the obvious shield. 45m Climb the face directly to a ledge near the left arete. 4. 10m Climb a layback flake and face to top.

Starts at bottom of Fly Paper Wall and heads all the the way to the top of main wall. 1. 18m Right side of FPW to stance. 2. 40m Follow slab past overhang then down to belay. 3. 35m Begin up main face to arete, then right to belay ledge. 4. 20m Follow arete all the way to another belay ledge perched above an overhang. 5. 10m Up the wall behind you.

10m L of Tigris.

1. 12m Climb the humungo flake to top.

2. 30m Up R of water trap to ledge.

3. 33m Up to top

Starts on top of boulder mashed against wall to the left of where the trail meets the main face. 1. (24m) Straight up to big flake. 2. (33m) Continue up till you reach a rightwards weakness and follow to top.

Begins where the track meets the main face. 1. (35m) Up to ledge then follow left groove to spike. 2. (35m) Continue up to R of cave, over, out and up to top.

Last pitch of Black Streak

Start at the left of Well's Cave entrance.

1. 24m Up and left to the chimney and following overhang before transferring R to secondary chimney.

2. 18m Up the chimney.

3. 21m Webb's Crack to finish

Fantastic introduction to lay backing. On the boulder just left of 'Deceit'.

Slab 7 m R with features and good pro

On extreme uphill end of wall uphill from Alcove and around L of Sophie. Climb corner and crack.

Start at lowest point of slab and follow line of grassy pockets to quartz seam.

The arête 3m right of “Boater Boy”. Easily up the delicate corner. Finishes up high as for “Boater Boy”.

A fun scramble, good option for quick access to the Jaws area.

800m past The Pinnacles towards The Big Cliff is a major cleft through the cliff. Start the climb on the East side, 1m L of the Cleft. Climb the chimney to a large ledge, traverse 6m R to a large gully which leads to the top.

Start at the initialled buttress at the L end of the cliff. Layback to start, up and L to a short crack and ledge. L and scrub bash up.

The obvious corner directly behind the Access Scramble

Descent gully starts at the obvious saddle on the far western end of the Wollumbin Shield/Western Peak of Mt. Warning. Mostly just an easy scramble. Heavily vegetated at times. Very short sections of vertical which can easily be scrambled down using trees or spear lillies. Seceteurs may be beneficial at times to cut away some bits of spikeyness.

Layaway to jugs and easy top out.
