Routes in Oceania for selected grade

A pleasant jug-haul arete.

Start: The arete right of the walk-down gully.

Hard start, then easy climbing to the ledge.

A direct finish continues up the crack above this ledge at about grade 18.

The rightmost deep gully facing the road.

The easy stepped line, moving right at the top to below a steep wall. Move up to a ledge and step right, exposed, and up on jugs.

Start: Start about 15 metres left of "Eternal Youth, 7 metres left of "Dead Fox" behind a large block at the left and front end of the lower tier.

There are 2 obvious deep lines on the cliff [you can see them from the carpark]. The left one.

Start on whitish left corner of main slab moving left and up the redish slab.

Up via the large flake ramp.

Looking Down the rocky gully the first feature on the right is a small alpine type arete. The Climb takes the slab at the L of the arete.

The slab, then a series of steps to the crest of the arete. Up broken rock above to belay on top.

Climb the pockets from a sit start.

Climb the high slab on the left.

Climb the centre of the highball slab on good holds.

Start just right of the arete and head up the highball slab. Easy climbing on good holds. Possibly the same route as 'Flintstones Do The Hump'?

The right hand side of the northern, slabby side, just left of 'Arete'. Up to the ledge, then up water groove to top. (Originally graded 7, but was soloed, so changed to bouldering grades.)

To the right of 'Fridge Hugger', with horizontal crack 2m up. (Originally graded 6, but was soloed, so changed to bouldering grades.)

Climb the high, easy angled hand crack. Watch the loose block near the top!

This climb is on the back of the 'Meditation' boulder, 30 south of the Raptor boulder and fronting the walking track.

An easy no-hands problem on the uphill side of the boulder.

Sit start on the prominent blocks, then up easily. A fun challenge as a no-hand slab at V0.

Begins where the track meets the main face. 1. (35m) Up to ledge then follow left groove to spike. 2. (35m) Continue up to R of cave, over, out and up to top.

Fantastic introduction to lay backing. On the boulder just left of 'Deceit'.

Start at lowest point of slab and follow line of grassy pockets to quartz seam.

Start at the initialled buttress at the L end of the cliff. Layback to start, up and L to a short crack and ledge. L and scrub bash up.

Layaway to jugs and easy top out.

Used to escape ledge after toping out on other problems or done ground up.

Reverse moves to get down.

Twin chimneys at the head of the gully as access.

Easy ramble up just right of corner.

Start as for Central Waterfall Slab when you arrive at the first crux temporarily veer diagonally left up the ramp line.

First of the steeper gullies right end of Money, more of a scramble.

Slab immediately left of Groovy gully.

Start under Slab traversing left into the base of the larger Gully then hook back diagonally right to finish via Slab.

Start as for C and start making your way up the larger Gully veering left up the ramp.

Left of two gullies farthest left side of Hemisphere Boulder and all the way along the ridge to the other side.

Western slabby face of Cliff, traverse left to right.

Scoop left of LPg4.

Slab immediately left of scoop.

Left again slab left of tree.

From the ground climb the short offwidth/gully.

Climb the left arete and wall of short slab right of gully.

Short wall between the aretes, with both aretes out.

Directly up the left arete of the hanging face.

Far left of Leopold! Arete, flake and crimps to ascend the slab, detached blocks out.

Climb the ramp from far right to left.

Left of the bloc from the ground standing up the face utilising the large juggy rail.

Chossy right side of bloc to nice summit.

Up the short chimney.

Start in crack lower left of Love Doll gaining and ascending the ridge via the slab, more of a scramble.

Tufa looking like slab left of Grommet.

Left of Flattie via diagonal crimprail.

Metre right of Flattie via jugs.

Up the gully and right.

Up the gully to exit via boulder on left.

Easy slab metre left of Bulgy Slab.

Stand start far left front face stepping up and moving right to ascend the slab.

Start right of seam/scoop moving right to mantle low angle slab.
