1* bolt to bolt dog, 1fell off after bottom crux, still a bit on for the redpoint crux. Access: Rap off CTW bolts and walk over on ledge. Bottom belay anchor - 1#0.75 C4, 1#1 C4 + U bolt. All on p/u bolts (some rusty coach screws still in situ), top anchor 2 U bolts - over the edge but OK to lower back to belay. Solo or move together using a few bolts to get back above CTW.

came here with big dreams and in classic fashion dropped it. but of course i did - crux was a layback! my arch nemesis! will come back armed with 1s out the wa-zoo. and don't let any one tell you its a .75 crack. sure, bring a bunch of them, but 1s ftw. p2 was wild. i stayed in the crack thru the crux which im not sure i would do again? time will tell. fun walking to a crag and seeing how the locals live. thanks for the mid-week tour de blues dd

One of the best 22s I've ever done. I feel like I didn't rest well where I could have and messed up the crux higher up. Same thing on second cleaning... For next time: bump the left hand in the sequence of bad crimps, rather than trying left-right. Sustained for the grade. Memorable detail — Ross decked on rope stretch on the first move and broke the stickclip he was carrying up!

Very sustained and very epic along with a few moves or two. Start is a little go-y. Fell on my first go and ended up decking on rope stretch. Not that bad though apart from landing on my stick clip and breaking its head. Would love to come back fresh and not in the freezing cold for a rp burn. Fingers were frozen off in the shade today.

Bit of a late start for a first eco dog flash attempt. Track in good condition P1 - crux probably as dry as it'll ever be, dogged the commiting layback section, hand traverse to jug to halarious left shoulder/butt/thigh scoot to anchor. Was good to have 40.75 for the dogshow Belay - bolt and 0.5-0.75 P2 - chill climbing to defined [dogged] 3D crux* before transition to jugs out left. Cheers to mark for catching the dog show, P2 crux should be easy to work on TRS but lower crux will be a bit (too) faffy with the rooflet, and probably the harder crux.

A stunning line, and at times desperate. The bit of seep and spuge didn't really help with that, but also didn't take away from the epic crack. Bring lots of #1 and #0.75 cams. Like four of each would be nice. Will be back to clean it up, but on the on-sight i found it very committing.

Epic struggle on a mega line. First pitch has an el nina induced moss ecosystem running through the initial crack. Second pitch is completely dry, 3D climbing awaits you with a step across which reminds me of Humanality in Tonsai.

Top rope solo. Took like 10 attempts to get the first move off the ledge (crux). Really surprised I was able to get the high foot-right hand crimp-pull body up move but it felt so nice I re-did that one move another 5 times! Felt like sandstone slab could be my new favourite type of climbing til I got cheesegratered near the rope due to a foot slip….

Onsight but for the first three bolts of Passing Wind. Felt 24ish for the onsight with no chalk but could even just be hard 22 if you knew exactly where you were going. Rad route though, bottom end classic.

Had a bit of a medium time on this. Onsighted the first bolt and a half of new climbing but then got quite stumped at what I assume was the crux. The rock seemed to deteriorate for the hardest moves and after I crumbled a few little holds I ended up just coming down instead of eating in to what little skin I had left. Would happily try again though.

Annoyed I didn't get this, but there is only one move at the top combined with my average endurance means that I couldn't stick it. May have gone off route in the middle onto Passing wind though, both climbs are pretty close.

Classic in the genre! Burly, reachy, steep crack climbing on generally good rock. Definitely needs to be added to the Bluies quality cracks circuit. I found it very intimidating at times but rarely actually hard. Would round out an absolutely mega trad day at Engineers doing this, Static, and CTW. Took the advice of rapping in on a fixed line and rope soloing to get out. Harry and I both thought the pitch lengths were fairly generous.

I offer one (1) dollar to anyone who can give me a viable sequence for the seam at the top. It has been a proper long while since I could do basically no moves on a 25. Seemed reachy and low key impossible. Might be getting removed from The List...... Cool line though, Giles and John were weapons if they did properly free this in the 80s!

The hardest climb I ever attempted. so desperate. couldn't not find a way to layback(slippery) or jam(even having quite small hands). If you fall from traverse you can't come back without pulling on some gear (hopefully the leaders protect the travers really well). Have been on several trad 21 ... if you can lead this climb clean you can be 100% sure you will be successful on most 22+ climbs in Araps

Surprisingly good! Climbs like a harder version of P2 of Catch the Wind, on great rock, and with funky moves to negotiate the steepness. It also isn't too hard for the grade (especially considering how sandbagged trad routes at this grade often are), and was just tonnes of improbable fun to climb. With a touch more traffic (and an exit pitch) this should be a Tradsters trade route.

what a climb! the hardest and the nicest trad route I've done so far. first pitch is not that bad if you can commit for a few layback moves above gear to reach the corner hold. second pitch feels a grade harder than the first one. very hard and sustained crux which is not too long though. I think it can go next time if I man up and not try to place gear in the middle of the crux section

I initially fell off the first pitch because the holds in the traverse were wet. That's my excuse anyway. It was then Mungo's turn to try and he got it clean. I seconded P1 clean and then led the second pitch clean. As usual I barely jammed at all. I intend to come back with a big rack and redpoint the whole thing in one pitch.

pretty tired from the day before. was fighting the pump from pretty low down. interesting moves throughout and very consistent climbing.

Ben was disappointed we couldn't do Catch the Wind due to major seepage (although I'm sure we'll be back), but I'll take some nice edges on a face over a steep crack any-day. Great moves, great rock and some good rests to slow the building pump a little. Very enjoyable
