Begehungen in Éléphant als Working

Je n'ai pas la resistance aujourd'hui.

Many attempts only to be spat off after hitting the dead point beautifully. Left foot blew out and that was it.......better outcome next time for sure.

Didn't expect much and got further than I expected pulling the lower crux and the next four moves.......happy days!!

Refined my beta on the bottom section a little more for a clean push two moves higher.

Discovered a better heal position and dropped off to rest

From the beginning through to the move just before the cross-through......good work day all up.......very content indeed.

Warm up pulling through lower section to first jug.

Warming up a little more to get the muscles traumatised enough that they are functioning a lot better. Adjusted beta for final move up on to slab.

A few attempts (maybe 5-6) to warm up a little and get beta back in my head, then gave it a good go. Came off at a new high point. Its not done yet, but it will be.

§€$£§¥§€ One cannot be closer than this, felt 3 times one the (really easy) last move..

Think this would go with a bit of work. Don't get many shots though as the holds are so sharp.

Progress. Now am holding the heart and about to make the final moves. Was in the sun and felt meh though.

So this is my longterm project for the season. Worked all the moves and linked crux through to the finish. Body tension is much improved and feel this bloc will definitely go. Happy days indeed! Bad conditions and some rain inhibited progress and we lost light early due to cloud cover.

Remembering beta

Sorted out super balance upper section

Two moves closer to the top out....super stoked at the progress. A year ago I wouldn't have even looked at a balance slab problem like this.

One move further and so much closer to finishing this. This slab is absolutely stunning and a technical beauty. I hate slabs and this one has made me change my mind.......just love the required dedication to this 4 metres of sandstone.

This thing is still nails but I got one move further with weight on my right foot this time. Stoked to be at the second to last holds.

Some few tries before the arms started aching again. Had the height(!), but couldn't stick the slot. Ready for some holidays in the office!

Very very close of doing the dyno, still no idea what comes after (seems simple). Once again, had to stop due to hurting biceps

Hard, 6B in Topo. Tried only the left variant which seems doable. Right looks easier, probably this is the 5C?

Got high as never before. Somehow too high...
