Ascents in New South Wales and ACT by Nicholas Kirk

Awkward, somewhat reachy climbing the whole way, lots of painful holds.

Fun climb. Cruxy and varied.

Holy sandbag Batman. Only 16 in Aus with a V2 boulder and a potential ground fall from 5m+? ~16 climbing at the top and up to 1st bolt, the rest way harder. Broken hold and a missing 2nd bolt maybe? Thinner than nearby 18 and 19s and a tougher crux.

Nice climbing. Still get spooked whenever I have to make high foot moves above the bolts. Wussed out and rested several times.

Took some practice falls and didn’t reclimb. Easy jugs after establishing at the bottom.

Fun start. Moved the anchor across instead of braving the huge run out.

Shifting the anchor was the scary part. Ouchy my fingers were too raw.

Tall-boyed the whole thing.

Got psyched out before the anchors after doing the hard moves. Very painful on the fingers, pebble-filled pockets full of spiders.

Very easy until the very last move. Not sure how far around the arete you're 'allowed' to go, but I pushed that line for sure.

Nice little bouldery move to start. Standing up on the ledge was slightly nervy as it was sandy. Good holds the rest of the way.

Slightly bouldery start. One pinchy undercling solved the only real beta issue.

Wussed out on mantle move, even though I was at the draw did it easily straight after.
