I have this ticked as a solo, but I think that was Plum Duff. This is almost a retrobolt of Pimple and of similar difficulty

Rpt, the nicest route I did all day.

Dirty discontinuous climbing, even the arete at the top didn’t salvage it

Better than it looked and feels quite long with the traversing. Interesting engineering at the start…

Only advantage is it makes it easier to clean

Another height dependent start

Will be good with traffic. Adding a grade for the start. Briefly reminiscent fox wall at berowra.

About grade 20 without the cairn at 167cm

Did the beta right but lacked the height. Found higher unorthodox footer second go

One quite hard pull with ledge potential

The slab at the start was quite sandy

Would protect better on trad than the bolt positions

Definitely 24 for the short without the ability to get off the first ledge easily,and 2 other very reachy bits. Dogged up it the top roped clean, but only by mcdougalling right at the first crux- and it still felt 24 and I definitely had to use pockets.

I would not commit to the ugly mantle without a draw on, so climbed up and down about 6 times before making a mantle move

Maybe I was tired, took a little bit of grunt for a 17.

A tick really, as I could have stepped down to ledge easily enough. But worth repeating some day , must do before I get shorter though, some long moves

Deduct a star for the gross starting mantle/ grovel. It’s ok, not 3 star and definitely not the best 21 or 22 in Sydney.

Still find the start tricky, but probably would be easier with a bigger cheat stone.

Unfortunately the crack was too wide to jam for me, but I can always high step
