Ascents in Climbodia

this is defs worth the 3 stars. so much fun, even if i was racing up it to clean before a downpour

this one is actually pretty good, does need a good dusting tho.

Passing by on a road trip, couldn’t resist pulling over just to try it again. Still beyond me.

It's such a dusty climb, it makes you nervous. After getting beat the night before we went back, my partner lead it this time and I just top roped after him. It's not all slopers, every level of rock has a jug or two, it just takes some groping around to find them. I cheated a little bit at the crux and went a couple of feet to the left, technically topped out on Victorious.

I took a look at continuing after Den E40, but gave up without even making the first clip. Looks nice though. Tops out outside on the Via Ferrata

It's not really a climb, it's just a small tunnel the you can pretty much walk up. Good spot for kids to learn lead clipping though!

Den E40 is the first half of two climbs. If you continue past the anchors half way up the rock then you are on Den E411 and the grade rises. It's a fun opener for the day climbing up through a tunnel like a smoke stack great for stemming.

Kind of a cheat, I only did the top half or so. Pretty easy route compared to those around it.

Had a go, but got scared off the route by the run out between 2nd and 3rd bolt. Definitely a ground fall potential. Transitioned over to Victorious and finished from there.

Cimbed around 5pm, the light was really bad at that point. Head lamp wasn't much help jamming up the little offwidth, couldn't trn my head enough to see anything properly. You can actually get inside the narrow chimney cave and wiggle up to the fourth bolt that way, but I ran out of energy before I found an upper way out of it.

Went back down and tried it outside the narrow chimney. Looked more possible but I was spent. Next time go inside the caves around noon.

In my opinion the best climb here. It's quintissential Phnom Kbal Romeas, with many slopers, funky water shaped formations, sea shell fossils in the rock, inside cave/outside cave, and a lovely window at the top. The name is perfect, it's delightfully offbeat (like the song) and theres a window (not like the song). No 100 foot long limo though.

Start same as Primma donna but go right. You can stay on the corner for an easier climb or slide into the scoopy bit further to the right for more intersting vertical pocket holds and stalactite-like rock pinches. When I got the the second to last bolt I got lost and was calling down to my friend asking where the anchor was, there was nothing ahead of me. One of the staff was around and shouted "behind you". This is what made this climb so cool to me. There's a downward hanging fin of rock going out into space with an oval hole in it (the window) its a super fun finish to the climb. Though the lower off is completely exposed, and I hate hanging in open space. Worth it though.

Start same as Window Licker but take the left nosey looking formation toward the inside of the cave (the outside is She's Chemistry). Two cruxes make this climb more than just a ladder, but it's not too challenging. For extra fun abandon the obvious straight climb to the bolts before the second crux and span over the tunnel where De Lukas is located, theres a fun hand jam problem that way. When we went there was a top rope left there. I think Climbodia leaves it so they can train people on De Lukas. So my partner lowered off the top rope instead of making our own anchor, and I just top roped with slack instead of actually seconding.

Wow, what a cool looking climb. There's a half pipe coming straight down the rock a little wider than your shoulders after the over hung boulder problem to start. It's so bumpy it looks like there are holds galore, but it's been so smoothed by water over the centuries that it's nothing but smooth slopers everywhere. A real tense climb. We bailed at the half way mark with a quickdraw above our heads we couldn't reach again after I placed it. BUT it's ok because using the via ferrata you can access the hole in the roof of this cave for a mega classic rappel back down into it for the clean. Also fun to swing around and grab the fins of rock hanging in space.

Peut etre la 2eme voie enchaînée avec la 5A mais fin pas evidente et très engageante je trouve
