This guidebook is the bible of the Arve Valley. It presents most of the sport crags and multi-pitch routes in the valley, between Cluses and Les Contamines-Montjoie. Predominantly on limestone cliffs (with some gneiss cliffs on the side of Les Contamines) you'll find varied climbing, both in styles and levels.

With 1260 routes spread across 51 sites, there's something for everyone: from single-pitch routes to much taller cliffs, and even some very adventurous sectors (only the most classic routes are detailed here).

The guidebook is produced by Gilles Brunot and the profits generated from the sales of these guidebooks are donated to the EKIPROC association, which funds a significant amount of the equipment used to bolt or re-bolt routes in Haute-Savoie.

The main cliffs in the valley are:

Sport crags
Balmette and Superbalmette, Bionnassay, Cascade de Doran, La Duchère, Le Clis, La Frasse, Sous les glaciers
Multi-pitch sites
Pointe d’Ayère, Balme, La Croix de Fer, La Maladière, Tête Louis-Philippe, Tours d’Areu, Les Vuardes.

Thaurac is the largest climbing site in the Montpellier region. The cliffs rise on both sides of the Hérault gorges, offering a wide variety of climbing styles, difficulty levels, and most importantly, orientations that allow everyone to climb throughout the year. This guidebook is the digital version of the ‘Escalade au Thaurac’ guide, regularly reissued and updated since 1989. It features over 1200 routes spread across around fifty sectors. Each sector is illustrated with photos displaying clear and precise route outlines, while approaches are illustrated with panoramic photos for effective orientation.

The guidebook is produced by Fabien Roumanille and Loïc Le Denmat, two of the most active route setters and maintainers at Thaurac.

The profits generated from the sale of this guide are partially allocated to the maintenance and development of the region’s cliffs.

For the climber, Grenoble is perfectly located, at the crossroads of the limestone massifs of Vercors, Chartreuse and Belledonne. The crags span from the urban sites suitable for the climbing session just after work to multi-pitch routes in high altitude; there is something for everyone and at all levels.

We offer digital guidebooks of sport crags and multi-pitch routes equipped by the bolter association ECI (Escalade Club de l’Isère) team members. These sites are targeting a wide audience of climbers and are therefore not too elitist.

Through your purchase of this guidebook, you are contributing directly to funding of the in-situ equipment at the climbing sites.

Since ten years, bouldering moved a lot in Corsica and a lot of news spots has been discovered.

We needs two words to define the practice here : beauty and diversity. One can find some boulders on a beach and another spot under trees or at altitude, separated by only few kilometers. And we climb here in fabulous places, often wild.

Granit is the main rock we find . It’s however different if it takes place near the sea (Capineru, Calvi, Palombaggia…) or in the center of Corsica (Valdu di Saltu, Bavella, Restonica). Styles of climbing are consequently very different.

This guidebook is a compilation of the most beautiful areas. It will lead you from Balagne to the extreme south, via Corte or Bavella.
