Passo Monte Croce Carnico

Access: WARNING!

In December (2023) a huge landslide closed the Monte Croce Carnico Pass, and destroyed some climbing routes, in particular on the "Pal Piccolo" crag. Be very careful, climbing is not recommended in all the sectors affected by the landslide, and in neighboring sectors.

This region includes Monte Coglians (Hohe Warte) and the Pal Piccolo (Kleiner Pal) and is located East and West of the Passo di Monte Croce Carnico (Plöckenpass) at the Italian/ Austrian border.

On theCrag this area includes the crags on the Italian side of the Passo di Monte Croce Carnico. Please refer to Plöckenpass for the crags on the Austrian side.
