Described as a one-move wonder.

Climb Ama Yodori to the two bolts at the bottom of the overhang. Power through the roof like a hero. Don't stop at the lip but press on right to the top of the crag.

The classic of the crag. A long outing that traverses rightwards underneath the big overhang. Don't stop at the lower-off on the lip, but continue on up the slab to the top. It is advisable to switch to the belay at the lip when lowering off as rope drag can make it difficult to recover the rope when lowering all the way to the ground from the top belay.

Start off as for Hokurakushimon, but head straight up through the roof where that route traverses off rightwards. Don't finish at the lip belay but continue on to the top belay.

Start as for Nishikigaura and finish as for Green Onion.

SD start

An easier version of Mine no Yu which starts from the right edge, climbs up and then traverses left to reach the top of the crux move of Mine no Yu. The climbing is amazing with great moves on perfect crimps. A little scary at the top as it is quite high but with enough pads and a good spotter it is relatively safe.

Sit start on the two pockets in the middle of the boulder. Go up tending left.

SD Start Japanese Grade: 2Kyuu (2級)

Open the curtains on this route by following the right hand line after the fifth bolt of Hasegawa Route.

Name is onomatopoeia for the sound of something splashing into a large body of water.

Avoid using the big flake on this one.

Traverse rightwards until it is possible to gain a big hold on the lip. Climb on to the top.

The rock on the right gets in the way of this problem slightly.

Traverse leftwards to finish up the 3 kyū crack, without using holds on the lip of the boulder.

Extremely soft

One of the most classic and historical routes of Japan. Amazing climbing following a beautiful sloppy edge on a vertical rock. Continuous and sustained climbing from the start to the top out on a nice edge. Really nice exposure.
