Summary

Lime Kiln Canyon is and outstanding limestone limbing area just outside of Mesquite in Nevada. The main wall offers long, mostly vertical and very technical routes on excellent limestone.

Description

The main wall (The Grail) offers very long climbs (single and multi pitch) on excellent limestone and is - with the exception of the routes on the far right that get some morning sun - in the shade all day. Sacred Trust and other sectors are more slabby and offer easier single and mutlti pitch climbs.Guide book :Limestone Bible Misty Murphy and Bill Ohran .

Approach

From Mesquite (Nevada) drive towards Lime Kiln Canyon using White Rock Road. Once you hit the dirt road continue for about 10 miles staying left at about 3 miles at the cattle guard. You will reach a pull out to the left from where the obvious trail up the hill starts.

Where to stay

You can camp next to the pull out but there are no facilities.
