Ascents in World by Oscar H

Needed two attempts today. Had forgotten the last few moves.

Tried to climb only on the arete. Was way harder, but also nicer.

I used the large rail for the left foot. Felt much easier than the beta in the video.

Maybe I was just lucky 🤷🏼‍♂️

Tricky start with slippery feet.

Actually rather polished by now.

Harder today than 2016. Don't know how to deal with that, but I guess a laugh is the best way 😃 Excellent lowball.

Did it again later during the day and it felt way better.

Felt very slippery and harder than 5+, but I guess it has to do with the conditions.

Weird start, then very easy climbing to the right of the bolts.

6c+ in the guide book. Feels harder to me.

The crux move felt impossible for me.

Very hard in the sun when very tired.

Happy to have climbed to the third bolt at least.

Have done the two routes of this linkup previously, so can't really call this an onsight.

Couldn't conjure my power animal and do the the (maybe rather obvious) move to the right at the end on the onsight go. Tried to cheat by catching a pocket instead. It wasn't good enough 🙂

Pretty hard crux moves. Should maybe avoid clipping the bolt in the middle of the crux.

Very hard crux, or at least hard to read. Don't know how to climb it 🙂

Thought I knew what to do, but had to rehearse the moves. Climbed badly but could hang on. Nice to have ticked it.

Hard to keep it together for so many meters when I'm used to 15m sport routes.

Could get three stars when it wasn't for the pigeons and the chossy rock just before the anchor.

Fell on the very last move before the anchor. Hidden catch. Still pretty satisfied with my attempt. Fun route!

Drilled pockets forms the crux. From there it's ok but easy to the top. Nice to have climbed it but not something one must climb here.

Johan ledde båda första reporna, i en. Jag föll på kruxet. Borde varit "min typ av klättring". Läskig start, superfin klättring.

First try today. Maybe my fingers aren't as weak as my endurance...

Two cruxes which I couldn't really figure out. But maybe it would be better not to try it in the sun on a humid day.
