Awesome to get the belay glory on Tom getting the FA. Super fun moves and another great drawcard to get people walking all the way up the hill.

I don't think I'm quite as excited about your mum's 20 year old boyfriend. When the climbing is not easily escapable, it's really good. But for the first 6 bolts I felt like I was cheating by stepping left (maybe I was).

Sweet, sweet honey pot of Gold! Great climbing indeed, consistently at the grade (21). We did extract about 30 kg of handhold-gold from this climb from about 15-20 meters up!

Did the first pitch: My new favorite at Dreamtime. Nice move into rest into nice move...

Spent way too much time searching for the holds on the initial overhanging section. Rested on the 3rd bolt (crux), then pumped out, gave up, and lowered off after the 5th bolt. It definitely would have helped to try to spot the holds more from the ground before starting!

Much easier when you know where the holds are! P1 only. Went up on top-rope to clean it after someone else had finished leading it. The bolts up the slabby upper section are quite spaced, but it looked like there were opportunities for micro nut placements between bolts 7 and 8, a BD #1 size cam between bolts 9 and 10 (just prior to the awkward traverse), and then a BD #.75-1 cam or large nut between bolt 10 and the anchor, with the last placement being particularly justifiable.

Just spectacular. Continuously difficult the whole way, but with plenty of rest stances, and an increbile variety of climbing. Pumpy, overhanging crux start (figure out where you want to go before leaving the ground!), then delicate, balancy slabbing, then a final, committing bouldery move getting around the bulge past the final bolt.

Definitely take a BD C4 #1 size cam, as it is quite runout from the final bolt to the anchors. (The placement, about 3m above the final bolt, tapers down perfectly, so a large nut would also work.) Micro nuts are also very useful for a thin crack after bolt 7, which will take a large RP or small aluminium nut.

Climbing like a clown, got to the run outs and pooed. Climbing was beautiful until I lost my head.

got to the top this time, but didn't enjoy it. a lot of the moves feel reachy to me, and there aren't a lot of feet.

So happy to tick this one off. Had been keen on it since walking underneath back in January. Had a few goes 2 weeks back and got super close but blew up with pump after pulling the roof. Came back with a game plan and the exact rack I needed and fired it. Stoked!!!!

With Kev, lead both pitches with a couple of rests.

Started on the 15, but felt this was not an obvious line and decided to move into the 17. Many loose rocks on both climbs and spaced, somtimes mediocre placements. On our first anchor we cleaned two massive boulders from the wall as we feared they might cause harm to whoever would climb this after us. Later during the climb I ended up with a piece of rock in my hand that I was holding as I was placing gear minutes earlier. At the top, we got confused what to do. I would highly suggest making your way to the anchors on the top of the wall to your left as the book suggests. We rapped down with two 60 meter ropes tied together and were able to do the rappel in one go to the ground.

Fell at the last move on this onsight, had some fun moves up the overhanging arete, just a bugger too fall so close to the end.

Thin, techy and fun. Didn't see a jug right at the top and came off.

Really techy and sustained. Worth the walk! Helped out on the FA.
