A rockies adventure. A large route with an alpine feel for sure. Pitch fields are logged below as we linked them (as recommended by Andy's original topo description). I didn't feel the climbing was that sustained with the crux sections being quite short. The rock quality is mostly poor with some absolutely terrible sections requiring thoughtful climbing and gear placement. Both 10d cruxes are on average rock however the protection is good (micro cams for the first 10d section and bolts for the second). I ripped a shoe-box sized piece of rock off on pitch 12 after climbing a 5.9 crack filled with so much dirt and vegetation I only got a single piece of gear in the only section that wasn't filled with crap which thankfully held solid (#3 camalot) otherwise it would have been the ride of a lifetime. Apart from that small incident I managed to onsight the route which I was happy with. We decided to walk off the ridge which took about 2hrs to return to the car making for a total of 13hrs car to car. All in all a fun day out however I wouldn't recommend this route. One and done for me.

A quality new addition to the wall with solid rock though the leader should still be wary of loose stuff either side of the climbing. Good to get back out with Nolan.

Fun day out with great weather. Sharp slab. Felt the calf pump! For a new multi the route is quite clean from choss other than P4 and top of P7. Pretty safe from rockfall given how traversing it is.

very fun climb. hardly any loose rock, well bolted, a great day out. the crux felt like a bit of a sandbag, but its very well protected (you could pull on the silver jugs to get past if you wanted). highly recommended!

Climbed pitches 1, 3, 4, 7 With Pete Hayes

Led 5.10a, 5.9, 5.9 pitches.

We did this route in the morning after it rained. The first pitch was soaked but with confident feet it was fine. Most of the other pitches were dry or not a problem. The second bolt of the second pitch had a loose nut, I hand tighted it but someone should tighten it with a tool. Pitch 2 would benefit from some long sling placements.

Poor quality rock, felt like an Alpine Route. Beware of the final jug at the top out of the route. The hold is a jug but you should not use this hold as the rock is likely to dislodge

Lead all pitches with Sara and Laura

Quality climbing throughout with each pitch having something to keep you engaged. Super proud of Bec doing this being by far the most sustained route she has climbed to date. I Led all pitches.

Popped my limestone cherry on this. So much fun on nice rock and some cool movement through all pitches.

One of my fave routes of all time. Great day out. Solo'd up to the mixed corner (crux), then more soloing to the mixed section up high where we simul'd to the top. Start time 8am, sitting on top at 11:30. Even had to wait for 1hr for another pair on the crux corner ahead of us. Could not have been better

Cold day out - topped out in a blizzard with a frostbitten finger. Quality route, but don't descend the back into Jura Creek!

Another fun lap up my favourite mellow alpine mixed route. Way better conditions than before.

Variation with lower pitches of Doors of Perception.

Great to finally get on this little classic. The grade 3 ice is short lived however its the mixed climbing in the upper half of the route that makes this classic. Lots of fun pockets and cracks which protect well. Super fun.

4 pitches of fun very loose

lots of pitons and a bolt at the crux, otherwise it wouldn't really have a lot of pro

all belay stations are bolted with rap rings. lots of bolts in the tricky places as well, and easy pro with wires for extra comfort. bring a couple alpine draws for rope drag. crux is a little hard for 5.7 great climb, sticky rock, not much loose rock, good exposure

First mutli pitch this year. Yeah! Great route. Some tricky sections that made it interesting. Perfect temp. Great lead from Rob. Still a newbie

A great little Friday arvo mission out with Bec. This gets a 5.6 in the guidebook and is definitely an old school 5.6. Agree with theCrag grade of 5.7. A few bolts but mostly gear though the bolted anchors make it pretty chill. Great little route

First trad multi pitch lead.

Pitch 2 is fun, remainder is not worth it and pretty run out. Not a great climb to take beginners. Some retro bolting has been done, crux on P2 is well protected. P1 belay is bolted, P2 is gear anchor marked with an old piton, P3 is obvious tree or rap anchor 6’ below. I’d skip P4 and rap off if I had to do it again.

Bailed at the top of P2. I was low key deathly ill.

My first multi-pitch climb - with a hoary, wind-blown, nothing but air rap to the ground!

pure ice route

First pitch WI3, then three short pitches of WI2. Ice was bad quality sun affected. Then pitch of 5.7/M4 and two short roped sections of WI2/M4. We finished on right hand ramp. Direct corner on rock looked more interesting in hindsight.
