Guessing E1 was before #6 cams. If you had two it'd be pretty chill. With one it was ok. Great climbing, lots of face holds around the offwidth. Worst part is polished feet at the start.

Lead 2/3 then realised I had tragically mismanaged the gear and didn't want to futz around while Cédric was shivering down there in shorts, so did a swap. Not sure if tunnel vision or genuinely hard to see what's coming up as the cracks jump around so much. Interesting, pumpy and packs a lot in for the length.

Back to this old classic! Bit polished but great route. Lots of rest and decent gear, if you find footholds left and right of the crack. The wide section a tad runout but no biggie, big jugs await!
