thanks to the nice old couple for letting us borrow their stick clip for the first high bolt..

almost got it the first time without slapping the arete somehow but couldn't commit. Gave it a few good goes to figure out the boulder problem. Good fun!

Couple of fun traversy moves

Fell on the last hard move misreading the move right where the crack ends. Incredible movement on thin crack. Would be nice to come back to it to dial the gear and try on lead!

Wet start made for a shit time but the crack above made it worth

tricky start but super cruisy afterwards. Jugs for days

the block move is cool hey although the slab is polished af on the arete now

Route stays true to its name! Quality slabbing

Polished start with no hands meant fell heaps. Can I even call myself a slab climber? After the start, padding up the runnel was truly a unique feeling. No way I'd want to lead the second pitch with one bolt in 30 mt. WHATAPLACE!

Reached the lip above the anchors with sunlight hitting the fingers..ooo..

First lead in the darl. So surreal - loved it. I did P1 and Mark took us to the top!

Perfect night time climbing conditions

Combined P1,2 in a glorious long easy slabby pitch. Wind down the valley was pleasant. The Linville Trifecta lived up to the expectations.

A few harder moves than Daddy despite the easier grade. Full value nonetheless! lead P3.

I did P1+2 and Mark led the rest. So good to be up there with the view of the Linville Gorge. Stunning!

keeps you interested at the grade Stopped at the wrong place for the anchors and made Mark's pitch a tad bit longer. P2 felt harder.
