Fun - mostly lower angle with lots of frictiony stuff. We didn't climb with a topo and found out pretty quick there is a harder variation to the left, some of which we climbed. Start in the 5.8/9 crack to the right of the low-angle slab, and (I think)take the right hand of two routes most of the way, until a traverse to the left for the crux pitch. I didn't see the route veer right on the 5th pitch, so went straight up, but have heard this is the newer variation. Take a 70m rope for the raps, some which tend to be over 100 feet. Take a light rack with one set of cams, up to red or yellow camalot and 5 or 6 small to medium nuts, and you're good to go.

This is a nice long 5.8. I have climbed this route many times. I will typically anchor in on top once I finish the route and then have my partner follow me up and clean the route. This saves on the amount of hiking out the canyon
