攀登 in Echidna Wall

Doesn’t look like much but climbs surprisingly well at the grade

Great first half

Best route I did on the wall, also seemed easy enough at the grade, and plenty of gear around the bolts, you could do without some of them on the final head wall.

Some chalky rock and fiddly gear in the middle. Seemed noticably harder than the 2 routes to the right. Might be better with another bolt below the white v groove

seems easy enough for the grade, but I've been caught out saying that before.

Took the hand-traverse start. The direct start may be better now the block has gone.

chalkless and wandery, with a beastie deep in the crack hissing at me as darkness fell. First pitch only.
