A cheap lesson in expecting the unexpected and soft eyes when upsetting a big wasp nest on route. Edge of your seat stuff but miraculously survived without a sting, a modern day Daniel in the lions' den.

Pitched it out in the rain after the big man couldn't fit the squeeze, had to indignantly haul him with the z-pulley jiji.

What a memorable fight in the wet! As I started up it was already sprinkling, becoming heavier through crux as I threw a jam in desperation about to slip off and into a summer shower at the top as the inside of my glasses fogged up in the heat and i placed the last pieces blindly into the crack and climbed the final moves soaked and spent.

Never ending corner of doom is waxing lyrical I'd say, it's just a dirty offwidth. Great job by Caroline to follow me up, not exactly showcasing frog's finest jaja! Take 2 5's and 2 6's and it's not really run-out.

Berp!

First time on the sharp end and the famous V groove did not disappoint, great frog climbing at the grade. Lead in one pitch for full effect, rope drag minimal with seven alpine draws and four quickdraws.

Two years of climbing and two years at Frog tomorrow. Such an occasion called for a return to my first lead. It truly is a special place and I'm grateful for the opportunity to spend time here.

Good training, down climbed second time.

The desperate mantle goes smoothly with modern cams in the right places

Rehearsing moves especially top half fist jams, down climbed and cleaned after. Down climbing on fist jams was a great learning experience.

Lip smackingly good thin jams and good pro, ignore HDZ jugs and go crack direct for full value.
