攀登 in The Front Row having 攀爬攻略

Despite the first few moves being great, I'd give this a rating of -1★ if I could, just for how bad the top is.

Very cool starting move. Was only able to flash because I had beta.

The starting crimps are not really at head level, even for a real shorty like Nanami Kato... Once I found the start though the problem was sick.

Took me a while to find right feet placement

Started from the higher of the two flakes on the right, with feet just below the level of the hands.

Press your body upwards, and use the slopers and/or nub to top out.

V2 proposed grade, with a sit start adding ~2 grades (needs grade consensus)

Spend half an hour balancing on your big toes trying to find some more feet. Who doesn't love a downward trending slab traverse?

Good stemming and palming practice due to the lack of good holds over the top.

It Took 3 bleeding fingers to get this and a lot of air leg pumping. One for the pistol squatters.

Came back with more mats and more spotters for the send.

Decent addition to this wall. Good for some foot placement practice.

Got 90% the way to the top but my spotter freaked out when I was attempting the top-out and begged me to climb down. Probably a bigger indication of my shitey climbing style than her nerve but love is love so I backed off. Didn't feel any issue with the rock up there though.

first time here? try this, it will treat you right.

lost a lot of skin on the thin sidepull you have to pull like crazy on to gain feet. ouch. Somewhat of a 1 move wonder. but a cool move

I never get I first time.

Finally figured it out. Definitely more groin level crimps than head level.

Q. What's more annoying? A boulderer wearing a hat or not wearing a shirt while climbing. A. I need to get a life If I had more time maybe a hard linkup to this great r hand crimp would have appeared. I couldn't find it today.

A powerful compression move to start. Took many tries to get established and then throw up to the sloper, especially as if you sag a bit too far you end up leaning on the other boulder. You know in your soul if you truly dabbed.

Came back and conquered. Requires strong commitment out of your feet. Big thanks to Tom Bes for cleaning out the lichen, definitely helped the send.

took me more attempts this time than when i first climbed it. maybe i was tired from cleaning so much lichen of the thing. such a great climb

interesting traverse. its all about the feet. smeary feet and slopey top. had me sweating. Which crusty will come out of hiding to retroactively claim this one? its a fun game
