As of 2014, no climbing is allowed in Rocklands without a valid climbing permit. Land owners often conduct inspections in the climbing areas and anyone found without a permit will be asked to leave the climbing area. Permits can be obtained online - www.quicket.co.za - or purchased at CapeNature's Kliphuis campsite office; De Pakhuys campsite office; or Traveller's Rest farmstall and restaurant.

Sit-start and climb the prow.

Start with right hand on crimp and climb right up scoops.

Climb tufa, layback and finish right

Sit start, left hand from big crimp and right hand from a pinch/sloper on the right.

Sit-start on the corner with jugs, move out left on jugs then up to round edge and continue around the prow on good holds and climb out left.

Sit start from the obvious hold, move up left then climb up right. Don't use the pedestal for the feet.

Sit start with jug, climb up left with pockets and finish with slopers.
