Summary

A beautiful climbing spot with mostly steeper and some slabby routes on excellent limestone. The sectors are oriented south east and north east and it is often windy.

Description

This crag is located just outside the Shivwits reservation in a beautiful canyon overseeing the surroundings of St. George. Most of the crag is in the shade all day and it can be windy - so don't choose a cold day to climb here. Other than that, the rock, the views and the surroundings are just amazing and worth spending some time.

Approach

From St. George (Utah) drive on highway 91 until milemarker 10, just after the marker take a right on the first dirt road and go up until the road gets flatter and you see a pullout on the right next to a telephone line on the left. Park there or continue 30m and take a right on the small road down for a few hundred meters where there is a small parking. An obvious trail starts there on your left down the wash.

Where to stay

You can camp next to the road. Make sure your camp fires are extinct!
