Ascents as trad by Andreas Aachen

Been a few years since i have been on this. All moves still go but feels im as far away from leading this as i ever was

Did not clip any of the fixed slings as they all looked quite weathered. But the gear is bomber

First time playing on Prinzip Hoffnung. Absolute stellar 40m pure trad line.

Did almost all moves, but connecting the dots while putting the gear in will be a (very) long term project, however, in principle there is hope ;-)

Climbed parts on the right on the first pitch as I didn't have any cams with me...will def do it again once my gear arrived, stellar line.

How cool is this wall? Can't believe I never went here before. Great finish for our amazing but last Grampians weekend

Not much harder than SO P1, but feels twice as long and adds some really cool moves! (2nd shot)

Haven't climbed a 14 with a rope for a while...was good fun!

Awesome climb with a super hard start (are you supposed to traverse in?). Can't believe I haven't done this before, but whats with the bash-ins just next to bomber gear?!

Having something larger than a #1 with me would have helped...

This dizzy feeling in your head...great warmup! Went to the anchor on the left.

Great climbing on solid gear. Really only a few moves at/near 23.

Bottom half was a let down but upper half made up for it.

Pretty solid and commiting for 16.

Unlikely! Tough nut for a shorty with zero hip flexibility ;-)

Fell off the bouldery start, came back down and onsighted to the top.

Tired out just before the top on OS. Sublime route and a great way to finish an amazing day at eureka. Gets two Julie stars **!

Speed ascent with Goshen who linked P1+2 into one mega pitch.

Gear placed on lead but rapped over it first.

Basically onsight besides briefly seeing Bernie hanging in the rope.

Stellar route. Felt 2 grades harder than kachoong.

Soft as kittens.

Very cool climb. Did it on Bernies gear (PP)...Would be pretty pumpy red-pointing this..

P1: Goshen; P2: Me; P3: Goshen. Cool climb. Not even sure where the crux would be; traverse and final crack felt like 18-19.

Very cool pitch, and easy to do by itself with the anchor on top.

Found a sequence which works, however, after clipping the 2nd bolt I'm climbing the face just left to the arete on not actually the arete. Gotta have a chat with Goshen...

Better than heretic IMHO. Did it in 3 pitched by combining p3&p4. *Gets 1 Julie star.
