maybe a solo, but more like a half draw clipping solo, coz I'd clip the draw then climb above it & unclip it then climb to the next one to do it again & again till I was at the top. didnt mean on soloing it, just wasnt worth not...

2nd 1st, led 2nd, 2nd last... first pitch was for sure the crux. 2nd pitch was about 21 and last pitch was grade 8 at best. but all round, awesome climb!

hehe, a FUN climb, and one for the memories...

heaps harder than it was 16 years ago, well, for me...

considering its been 15 years since I've last done it I'm considering this a flash

for old times sake...

didnt do the nails hard direct boulder, instead did the achievable right hand boulder to start..

A good excursion down memory lane had I the ability to remember.. I recall the idea of having done it a million times before, but cant actually remember any occasion, so flash it is!

in the sweltering conditions I climbed it easier than war-babies, jules made it halfway putting the draws on

Baking hot in the sun, the holds felt like soap! so took me 2 goes... but ace

perplexing bolting! or I was off-route. probably was... found it too hard to stay on the left side of the arete following the bolts, so climbed the main arete section partly with the corner crack. still grade 21, and pleasant. not the straight forward sport-climbs of wave wall down here...

climbed it as a second pitch to 'shades of grey', great combination, completely opposite styles, felt easy peasy comparatively

considering it climbs through the crux of 'infant terror'' but is yet longer, I'd say it was fairly solid at grade 20.. but a classic never the less. arent they all?

one of the best climbs I've ever done. if you like mantles and non-existant holds that you'll never believe you can hold let alone do the crux moves on then you'll love this one! perfect rock, moves, position, place, approach.. Everythings good.

as your climbing through the first pitch your thinking ' man this is sweet!', but when you've climbed through to the top you think 'holy crap that was incredible!'... the crux is in the first pitch which after you keep on trying to rest, (failingly), but the roof's make the climb, and the last little boulder keep you keen! not recommended as a good rope-solo, but if your open to the adventure like me, then its pull-off-able.. so GO FOR IT!

So Bad, its Good! one word. Super: epic, gritty, grippy, hard, hard to find, hard to approach, unlikely, unpopular, unavoidable serrated edges, scary to rope-solo, long, wandery, amount of bolts on wall and something else..

an incredible mega outing. kinda like this; on the rap down you see it, but when you climb it, the easy looking bits are hard, the hard looking bits pass without knowing, the jugs are wet, the wind is strong, you think its done, but BAM it keeps on coming unrelenting in waves made all the more when you have a 60m rope tied on your back & chalk bag on your front from the necessity of a full on adventure... but otherwise awesome & user-friendly to rope-solo with 2 ropes,

easily accessible and a definite must-do if you've just done the next doctor, or as a warm-up like me. beautiful position and an easy quick rope-solo

dont quite know the history, but it finished a bolt before the chain, so I gave it a go, realised it went, then did it. dont know when this was, so dont pay much attention to the date
