A composed lead by Kyle. There are indeed much better climbs at frog than this.

Not as bad/runout as the description suggests. I wouldn't suggest placing gear behind the boot, but it's pretty bomber the rest of the way, and decent climbing.

8/20: The only climb for the day that wasn't a repeat for me, whereas Brendan did 16 climbs he'd never done before! Actually a rather worth while climb. I definitely used the boot on my way up, just didn't reef on it too hard.

There are a few routes the Andrew Martin guide denigrates that I think are great, but on this route, we are in total agreement. Started up on lead, got past the boot flake, which is as bad as it looks, only to discover higher up in the crack, a 20cm diameter pillar you can see behind, which is what you climb on and place gear behind. Decided that bailing was the better part of valour and lowered off the gear in better rock below. Had a TR to rescue gear, top out is filthy as well. Maybe some of Damo's judicious trundling will make a decent route of it?

Another great lead by Gareth - good pro throughout where required.....but then again I was not on lead!!!

With Damien and Brad. A really nice climb, with face moves and thin crack in the top half which is refreshing change and pretty testing. The guide unjustifiably describes this climb as a horror show. I'd say be gentle on the blocks at the top of the first pillar, and be wary of your gear placements in the semi-detached narrow column in the centre (alternative is a small wire in the crack right of the column). But it's actually a beaut climb
