Stiff at the grade. When leading the third pitch, save your biggest hexes for the top crux! It's worth topping out - the fourth pitch was my favourite. I didn't do the direct start but should have due to rope drag.

make sure to extend your draws on the right side of the arete. would have fallen at the last move if it weren't for having a crimp pointed out at me. unique moves between lots of rests

Hard.

The roof crack was pretty damn hard compared to Pagoda Direct or Stranger in a Strange Land.

Led 1st and 3rd and made a friend along the way

Sensational! 1 cool pitch followed by 2 sensational ones. A stuck nut on the first pitch meant accepting the help of a rock out of tanjas chalk bag which she agreed to lower to me.. she didnt tie it to anything though it seems and dropped it down to the ledge below me, bringing her tally of dropped accessories of moonarie multis to 2! We got this sorted and i repayed the favour with an overcammed upsidedown 3 right below the p2 crux. Great to work hard on lead again, the crux felt nails to me and i baulked several times before letting out a great howl, raising my pitchfork and running chest out into the committing layback moves. Tanja had another chimney lead up top and i think she has found her calling. We had a fun scramble out and a treasure hunt to find the rap anchors was over quickly. There was also a petrified goat in the final chinmey, it wore the pained/shicked expression frim its last moments it life which was spooky. Unfortunately abit of trouble with the back has brought day 3 to an early close for some r&r (rest and recobeery).

Great route, super adventurous and good escape from the sun until the top.

Run out section on part of P2. Use caution if bridging and wearing a helmet as the width in the chimney varies. Not sure how strong the helmet chinstraps are, but potential for serious issue if taking a whip and the helmet gets suddenly wedged on the way down... may be being overly cautious here but worth a callout

First pitch is a good warm up option for the area. Both led second pitch, I fell at the last moves. The theme of the trip was trying to get finger locks that just weren't the right size. Heart breaking.

Mike led up, cracking line that goes forever

P1 in a three with Steph and Mike, bailed off after. Great climbing

Lead first pitch (surprisingly stiff) then got to watch Stokey crushing the spectacular money pitch.

Led the direct start first pitch

Strung 2&3 on to one awesome pitch. Great gear (large hexes are helpful) and great moves. Pitch 4 sucks, better to rap out.

Absurd fun adventure

Great climbing, but sandbagged. Much harder than it is graded.
