Crux would be much easier if you traversed right half a metre into the neighbouring line... or used the loose flake out left (I presume both options are out?). I thought other routes here were far better!

Very hard and possibly technical crux at the start, then easier climbing to the point where it meets with the 7b coming from the left. Thereafter technical crimpy climbing to the top.

Painful left shoulder move, but my shoulder was already sore from paddling. Not worth risking injury in the middle of our vacation 😅

Onsight attempt, with gear on me. Stopped halfway-up, after hanging 5 minutes on my tools, searching for the next hold (was hidden, actually).

Onsight attempt. A small hold broke under the intermediate belay and catapulted me into the void. Didn't have enough time to give another try, therefore climbed the transition into the ice and the rest of the pillar quickly, and cleaned the route afterwards. Given the circumstances, felt much easier than Aux Lames Cytoiens, just as the local guides suggested, due to the easier ice transition.

Second try, found the hidden hold too late. Had to pack and leave. Felt very sandbagged.

Very unusual climbing, totally killed me

Some mix of being overwhelmed with the weirdness of the moves and constantly scraping my finger wound made me give up after the first couple of bolts...

The crag was half full, half wet when we arrived. I resorted, grudgingly, to warming up in this route. Fell into the first bolt after unexpectedly slipping off a crimp, cutting my palm on the rock. Flash pumped and overgripping, I got to the crux and gave up after quite some tries. (For what it's worth, we observed zero successful onsights here for the rest of the day.) While subsequently belaying, I stupidly got my index finger snagged by my Revo, resulting in a painful, deep abrasion. The bloody tape sogged off after two more climbs and I called it a day...

Kniffliger Boulder, Lösung gefunden, beim ablassen nochmals gemacht und einen Cut im Zeigefinger geholt 😒.
