Really don’t like the bolting on this one, seems unnecessarily dangerous. Really fun route otherwise

8a to work out and 7a once you know the beta.

With my beta and my height, it felt easy..

Did it with 3rd bolt clipped after being told “that’s the beta” wouldn’t be able to send with while clipping..

loved the thin tufa and the crack!

5 go’s total making it more attempts than any other climb in Laos this trip. After slipping out of the knee bar two more times, I came down untied, retied and channelled the dark side of the force to finish it in the angriest, ugliest, ice-skating, campusing style possible.

Classic music hall 6b+, but also best route at the grade here.

Bit gutted I dropped the flash, was pretty close, think I just rushed a little. Went pretty smooth second shot. Decent boulder with many sequences available.

#2ndGo nearly flash fall on last move.

One of the hardest of the grade I've tried. Uninspiring lower half before a spectacular tufa fin into hand-crack crux sequence, with a spicy slab on polished feet to the anchor.

Best 7b ive tried in Thahkek! Few individual moves are hard but linking is quite a PE test. 6 tries including working try. Fell 4 times going towards the clip! Right kneepad is imperative if u wanna rest. The bottom messed my skin a bit.

Really fun and I loved this climb! Powerful transition from steep to slabby. Proud of myself I had two go:s on this climb on the same day. Todd was my belayer both times.

Easy to go off route above, look carefully for holes above before moving towards the polished sections.
