Begehungen in Mulanje

First ascent with Aleksandar Grahovac.

Wanted to climb PnP but it was super wet. P4 felt like a proper 5.8+ with the runouts. Rock is clean.

At this point only 3 pitches were bolted.

Climbed it again for the 6th time.

Good climb that stays dry throughout while the route next to it, PnP, is always wet. Good compensation.

Solo the first 4 pitches whose bolts have stripped off of hangers.

Well protected. TI can also be used to get to the small ledge of Route 2: In the Memory of Antoine since bolts were stolen from P1-P4 by rappelling from the top of TI to the side on the left.

DON'T RELEASE The rope of you do.

Arguably the most exhilarating sport climb on the West Face. Mixture of different styles of climbing, all wrapped in one. P8-P10 may not be worth the while, the good climbing stops at P7. Abseil down from here at the end of the orange face.

Unsuccessful attempt. Bailed at P7. Really difficult slab. Climbed The Initiation and joined this route on the ledge at the end of P6.
