Begehungen in Nevada als Attempt

Looks super fun, was too hot and we ran out of water. Bailed after P1

Had I been fresher? Attempted after 6 hrs at Kraft and first attempt was a high point, stopped on the crimp rail just before jug.

actually really enjoyed working this. went from being able to do none of the hard moves to just struggle with the first. Need to latch hard and not let go

Fell on the last move twice. What an all-star sloper workout.

fingers were toast

Clipped all the quickdraws for Klara R, the crux seemed quite hard with a bad right hand pinch, but I didn't really try to do the moves.

Didn't have enough time to figure out all the moves, in particular the lower crux and the dyno. The moves I could do were already quite cool. The route uses the few available holds in a mostly blank and slightly overhanging face.

Would have given it more tries but it started to rain, so we quickly had to take down our quickdraws. Felt definitely doable within a few tries, but I still would have to find good beta for the crux. Crimpy and shouldery route.

Couldn't do it with freezing fingers. I'm also not quite sure if this is the route we did, the guidebook is not so clear.

Last route of the day, too pumped from the routes I did before. Still almost did it but fell at the last hard move.

I had to come down because I could not get to the rock anymore before the 4th QuickDraw. Very far move at the second QuickDraw. When I do it both my feet are in the air. Really nice moves as far as I got, but for me it seems harder than 12a, the guidebook also says 12b.

Tried it once, there is a hard shoulder move in the most overhanging part of the route which (at least for me) is clearly the hardest move of the route.

There is one hard and far move in the middle of the route.

Last route of the day, I didn't have enough power anymore to climb past the crux

Actually called 'Call of Duty'. Difficult, but doable bouldery part for the first two quickdraws, then another hard part around a block and finally what was the crux for me (for which I couldn't find a solution): you somehow have to get out of a crack in which you can place good hand jams and to a jug which is quite far out. There are some bad holds in between but I didn't manage to place my feet in a way which would allow me to reach the jug.

Slowly slid off the holds at the second fixed quickdraw, friction is almost non-existent if you got used to Joshua Tree

Good onsight try but lost focus on easy move
