Routes in Kazakhstan for selected grade

Partially bolted sport route requiring occasional trad gear in some places.

1. 5a, 4 bolts,

2. 5c, 5 bolts,

3. 6a+, 8 bolts,

4. 6b+, 8 bolts,

5. 6b, 4 bolts,

6. 6b+, 9 bolts,

7. 5a, 4 bolts.

The grade is questionable.

Starts on the larger boulder.

7b if you climb directly over the overlap. Around 6b if you climb the crack.

6b+ if you climb to the left of the crack. 6a+ if you clomb in the crack. Seeps for some time after rain.

The chimney.

The overhanging crack feature just right of Sinyaya Gusenitsa.

Clip the first two draws by walking up the ledge a little.

Start as for Grib (left), but move right at the rooflet to reach the ledge. There is a bolt and rap ring for descent. BD #4 cam necessary.

5c if you stop at the first set of anchors (after 8 bolts).

For the send you need to tackle the slab at the top rather than wussing out.

Starts just above a boulder about 10-15m right of Cherez karniz. Climb right of the bolts for 6c, left for 6b.

Starts in the dihedral right of Skazki o sile.

P1: Climb Dihedral to ledge (use a long draw on the first bolt). 6b+, 25m 11 bolts. P2: Continue to top. 6b, 20m, 11 bolts.

Follow the bolted line for intricate moves

1. 5с, 7 bolts,

2. 6b+, 10 bolts

Starts a few metres left of Maliy serp, below the thin crack. Climb good crack to ledge then continue to top. Solid pro despite appearances. Some chipped holds.

Stay right of the overlap/flake for the grade.

The left of the two obvious cracks that start on the sloping ledge just right of 'Plyashi v ogne!'. Belay at the chains of 'Plyashi v ogne!'.

The right of the two obvious cracks that start on the sloping ledge just right of 'Plyashi v ogne!'. There are three squares painted on the route halfway up the crack. Belay at the chains of 'Plyashi v ogne!'.

The finger crack just right of 'Tri sheli'. Starts at a ledge which is reached by scrambling up the right-leaning ramp. There are a number of old bolts, but it's better not to clip them. Descend from anchors on the ledge.

Short but interesting. This ends on the same ledge as Kazakhsha Kures.
