Not the best bouldering in the ACT but there are some worthwhile problems such as the enjoyable “John Gill, You’re the Man” and the excellent highballs "Never Mind the Bollocks" and “Beaver n Goose”.
Tuggeranong Hill is CNP land, the Plan of Management can be found here. Most of the reserve is classified Zone 1; where conservation is the priority.
Of particular note is the Pink-Tailed Worm-Lizard which likes the same areas we do. Impacting the rocks and vegetation under boulders will result in closures similar to those at Black Mountain.
Adherence to these practices should allow Tuggeranong Hill to remain open as a low visitation crag, primarily those in surrounding suburbs.
Notes:
Drive to Florence Fuller Crescent, Conder, ACT, and park near the access road adjacent to number 15. Walk up the access road to the fire trail that runs along the base of Tuggeranong Hill.
No chipping and no bolts. Use traditional gear to set up a fixed line if you're unsure.
