Potential for biggest area on the island. Once the main port of Karpathos, Finiki is now a quiet, scenic port village. There's abundant rock above it, the existing routes only scratch the surface of what can be done. Good climbing close to the accomodation and beaches.
Coming from Arkassa by car one immediately notices the large rock face that rises between Arkassa and Finiki. A small climbing garden was drilled into this rock face by "The Friends of the Mountains". It is all about short routes, which were probably drilled with a ladder. See description and topo.
