As of 2014, no climbing is allowed in Rocklands without a valid climbing permit. Land owners often conduct inspections in the climbing areas and anyone found without a permit will be asked to leave the climbing area. Permits can be obtained online - www.quicket.co.za - or purchased at CapeNature's Kliphuis campsite office; De Pakhuys campsite office; or Traveller's Rest farmstall and restaurant.

Start with good holds on arête, climb out right with crimps and finish up the arête. 7A+ according to 8a.nu.

Climb the crack left of L'Arête

Climb up to the right of the arête.

Start with lowest rail left of Black Steak Slab and climb up leftwards using shallow pocket.

Climb the black streak right of Cannon

Start with the big left hand pocket and climb up.

Climb the short black slab.

Start as L'Arête but climb the face without using the crack.
