Nodos en Foothills Bouldering

There are thousands of boulders in the foothills on the East side of town.

While there a few developed areas, there is still a lot of potential for more problems if you are willing to walk a little.

Go up the arete on left side of South face. Harder if you don't use edge.

Left side of South face.

Right side of South Face.

Far right side of South face. Challenging start.

There is a good warm up traverse of the back side of the rock. Start on the back of the Left arete route.

Starts low at the rounded North end of boulder.

Start in vertical crack below big black knob and go straight up.

Start at the right end of a long diagonal crack on the NW side. Go from right to left.

Left side of face.

Start at crack on left side of face.

Start at small hole/foothold in the center of the face.

Start at small incut on right side of face.

Sit start on East side from jug to horizontal to dish on top.

Start at obvious black knob sticking out of South face. Sit start is V3.

Go right to left on overhanging West face.

Start with holds in crack 6' up on South face.

Right side of South face. Thin & balancy.

Undercling traverse starting on the left side of large flake.

From the undercling, go straight up the face. Highball.

Lieback crack and ramp on South side of boulder.

Start on horizontal and move to knob then top.

Walk up the pedestal boulder and transition up the Balanced Boulder face.

Reach up for left slanting crack and use it to gain top of boulder.

Big Boulder behind Balanced Boulder.

Traverse flake on South side.

Move up the Africa looking feature on South side.

Northeast arete.

Right side of face up thin holds to a horizontal.

Lieback crack to big hold higher up. Right side.

Crack on left side of SE Face.

Mantel up onto ledge then follow crack to top.

Straight up the arete in center of face.

Follow right slanting crack.

Straight up the Southeast Arete.

Steep East Face.

Boulders are in the valley accessed from the parking lot at the East end of Indian School road.

Left side of East face.

Move up arete just left of Sliced Tips.

Right side of West face.

Center of West Face.

Go from undercling to large hueco.

Start at crack Northeast corner.

Crack on North side.

Start at low point of North West side.

Boulder up onto large flake then move left and up the arete.

Go up obvious crack.

Get feet on to sloped ledge then go straight up.

Go up juggy crack on East side of boulder.

Left side of West face.

Center of West face.

Crack on West side.

Mantle problem on West side 4' right of crack.

Rounded arete on South end of boulder.

Steep face just right of Cactus Bloom on separate rock.
