Oltre finale consist of 5 different valleys but the Val Pennavaire has definitely the most to offers. Many great sectors suited for all year around climbing are located a small and remote road. The approach is max. 30 minutes to the crag. The climbing style varies greatly between the sectors, everything can be found that climbers want. Mostly the routes are rather physical but also delicate slabs can be found.
Nice white limestone wall with about 60 routes of difficulties between 6b and 8a+. The crag is clearly visible from the road. It gets sun only in early morning, advised for spring, summer and autumn.
It's better to visit this crag on none working days, because the nearby quarry can be quite noisy.
With kids: The central sector it will suited for kids. The right and most part of the left sector is somewhat steep at the base and not ideal for smaller children. The left part of the left sector is also flat and good for kids.
